A Cosmic Tuning for the New Moon in Leo. This New Moon is on August 16th, 3:05 am EST. This lunation is at 23 degrees of Leo. Within the portal of the Venus Rx Cazimi, this moon is the perfect moment to sit within the energy and attune to its magic. The solar power combined with Venus Rx, invites us to look at ourselves under the beams of this lunation. To embrace all of our parts, idiosyncracies, and talents, a trine with Chiron in Aries, the wounded healer, allows us to see it all, including our pain and darkness, and not be consumed. This allows us to enter new beginnings, not with a clean slate, but a whole one. Uranus in Taurus is squaring, demanding that we change with swiftness asserting that the time is now, and assuring us that we have done the work. However, we are still in the Venus Rx and the pre-shadow phase of the Mercury Rx, so proceed with awareness, knowing that change is coming. And of this change, we can be assured. This moon is also Trine the North Node in Aries, it’s time to buckle up. With the North Node in a cardinal fire sign, we can look forward to changes that will be both playful and wild. The Libra South Node is sextile this lunation, welcoming reflection in regards to our intimate and close relationship. Asking us to notice who has come and who has gone and why.
